Dreams do come true
My upcoming book; a compilation of stories I published on shuahkhan.com is going to be released very soon.
Coming from a family of authors, it has been a dream of mine to share my thoughts with the world through my writing. I was 19 years old when my college newspaper published my first poem in my native language of Telugu. Then writing took a backseat for a few years as my focus shifted to my career, family, and raising children.
Amidst the uncertainty of Covid, my life seemed to flash before my eyes and I thought about my paternal and maternal grandparents, who survived the Spanish flu pandemic in the early 1900s. My dormant desire to share the world I grew up in with my children, grandchildren, and others came alive, and I started publishing narrative stories from my life online at shuahkhan.com in April 2023, sharing a new story once a week.
I shared stories with my readers, who gave me input and praise. You know who you are; thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have had to take a break from publishing regularly for the past several months because I have been working on my upcoming book; a compilation of these stories is going to be published very soon.
